The other day I thought I should rake up some leaves for the kids to jump in before the weather got too cold, so that’s just what we did. Good thing too, since it snowed this weekend.
Giant pile of leaves, ready for jumping.
And spread back over the yard in a matter of minutes.
They had fun though.
Even Daniel.
I do sort of miss our big trees and lots of leaves in our old backyard this time of year, I do not miss raking and cleaning them up though! We still have a few years before our trees mature enough to cause much work.
Wait, YOU raked those leaves!? What a good mom you are.
What, you think my kids can rake a pile of leaves like that?! Yes, I raked them!
We’ll I know they can’t rake them but I would’ve been like, “meh, your dad will rake those for you later.” Lol
I thought about it, but figured I could use the exercise.
I’m just about to write about a blog about raking leaves for exercise! And totally unrelated, those monkey jammers Daniels’ in were my favorites.
I was all worn out when I was done raking, then I went in and found out I’d only been raking for 15 minutes.
